The amazing DragonSlayer Chronicle boxed set is going to be available again for a limited time this year. This boxed set will cost 9334 yen, but also contains twelve games in it, all from the DragonSlayer series, which is also celebrating an anniversary this year.

They plan for it to be released at the beginning of July 2014. ProjectEGG is a system that allows for the emulation of older computer games on current windows systems. Many of the old PC8801 titles for the Ys series have received ProjectEGG emulations as well.

A Surprising Addition of Special Collection Materials

This will include a reissue of the well-received Sorcerian Complete manual that was released in 2010. This set will also include reissues of the manuals for both Xanadu and the original DragonSlayer.

Illustration cards for the covers of the other titles included in this set will also be added. Furthermore, you will also find cards for the individual scenarios related to the Sorcerian series.

Also included in this set will be a CD with 19 tracks of the original soundtrack from DraSle Family, all found from the MSX/MSX2 version of the game. Originally released over 20 years ago in 1987, this CD has become a collector’s item amongst Falcom fans and gamers.
